Nicole’s & Rafael’s wedding featured in the *Destination Weddings & Honeymoons* magazine!!!!

I’m excited beyond words! What should I say? :o) Not sure if there is a bigger honor than having a wedding published on a bridal blog or … MAGAZINE!!

Destination weddings are like little (ok … HUGE) treats for me as I loooove to travel (I’ll admit it, I’m a beach girl) + love to shoot weddings. Can you imagine a better mix? I love my job :o)

Since you can’t really read the article below, I copy pasted the text, hope that’s ok :o)

Love of cinema connected Brooklyn, New York, couple Rafael, a freelance filmmaker, and Nicole, a marketing manager for a television content provider, who met while working on a film. After they dated three years, Rafael popped the question on their anniversary — but only after a foiled proposal attempt on a Florida vacation. “He wanted to propose while kayaking, but I was nursing a New Year’s Eve hangover and told him he should go without me,” Nicole laughs. “I had no idea; I was totally clueless.”

The couple chose Mexico for its affordability, convenience and great cuisine, and they set the date for Presidents Day weekend to give their friends and family a break from winter. Searching online, they found Al Cielo, a four-room boutique hotel in Riviera Maya that was perfect for their nuptials. “It was everything I was looking for in a location: stunning, small, rustic and remote,” Nicole says. The 46 guests stayed in the nearby town of Akumal, and the couple hired Ismael Sauceda from Sauce Vacations to handle transportation throughout the week. The rehearsal dinner was held at La Buena Vida, an informal beachfront restaurant, where guests noshed on fish tacos, sopa de lima and homemade flan.

The next day’s sunset ceremony was held on the beach at Al Cielo. Donning an Amsale gown and a white orchid in her hair, Nicole walked down the aisle lined with palms and rose petals to meet Rafael under a wooden altar adorned with white fabric and orchids. The personalized ceremony was a family affair: Rafael’s father, Jose Ottoni Lima, officiated, and the groom’s 12-year-old niece read Dr. Suess’ Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Nicole and Rafael read aloud vows their guests had devised for them; then the couple exchanged their own self-written promises. “Reading the vows our guests had written was a lighthearted, fun portion of our ceremony because neither of us had any idea what they would write,” Nicole remembers.

Afterward cocktail hour was held on the beach, where guests were greeted with margaritas and hors d’oeuvres like salmon mousse, totopos and coconut shrimp. A traditional mariachi band provided background music while everyone mingled. For the reception, the party moved to the thatch-roof restaurant for a sit-down dinner overlooking the ocean. Instead of a wedding cake, the couple incorporated a bit of local flair: caramel and chocolate churros brought in from Charros Churros, in nearby Playa del Carmen. “They were a huge hit!” recalls the bride. “Our family and friends are still raving about them.”

Rebekah & Michael | Indian Hills Country Club, Tuscaloosa, AL

I am sooo excited to finally blog my first wedding of this year. Some of you guys already had a peek at some of the photos on my facebook page a couple days ago, here are a couple more from the set! Thank you so much for all the comments! :o)

As some of you know already, I had the big honor to travel out of State to document Rebekah’s & Mike’s beautiful wedding in ALABAMA.

Well, the wedding was beautiful, I loved, loved, loved Rebekah’s dress. Everything looked so pretty, but you’ll just have to see for yourself :o)

This was also my first wedding where I had a professional Saber Arch on board, you guys were awesome – what a fun group! :o) Military families have my deepest respect. It’s hard to imagine the sacrifices that you and your families make! Leaving your love and child(ren) home / or seeing your husband leave must be the most difficult thing ever!

Rebekah & Mike held their ceremony at the First Presbyterian Church and partied all night at the pretty Indian Hills Country Club in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Ok, ok .. I’ll stop rambling. Rebekah & Mike, here you go:  :o)

Oh – and I have to ad a little side note … I tried a new processing style, hope you like it :o)

Hit the LIKE button on my facebook page, and receive pre-blog teasers! See you on the other side :o)

Rebekah had the ring of her great grandma (who got married 100 years ago, on July 12 1911!) with her the day of the wedding. How cool is that?

Love this shot, with the dress in the background … the light is so yummy!

It doesn’t happen often that I come across a tradition that I haven’t seen before, BUT I have to say, this one is really cute! It includes the lill bonnet Mike wore when he came home from the hospital as a baby. The tradition says that the bonnet is to be carefully packed away after the baby comes home until the child marries. Once the big day is here, one has to simply snip a few threads and the baby bonnet becomes a wedding handkerchief, carried by a lovely bride either the original baby girl, now all grown up, or the wife-to-be of the baby boy.

The pretty bride!

Look at that gooorgeous dress!!!

Oh do I love that shot! I wish all reception venues would have an open staircase like this!

One of my favorites!

Meet the groom, Captain Mike O’D:

Rebekah & Mike decided to have their photos taken before the ceremony (as the photographer seems to be a bit insistent on shooting while the sun is up, haha), so I took a couple photos of their first peek at each other. Cute! :o)

Love this one!

… and this one … aw, I love so many from this set!

One of my (many) favorites:

Aren’t they just adorable??

Bridal Party! First up the guys! (should I ad that Mike is one out of TEN???) I think that explains things, haha! He had SEVEN groomsmen … and EIGHT other attendants from the army. You don’t want to mess with this guy, haha! …

… though gotta say, they were all super nice and lots and lots of fun!

Yup, an OTHER favorite of mine! :o) One of the Saber Arch

Told you, this was a HUGE crowd!! 26 + flower girls & ring bearers! It *might* actually be the biggest bridal party I ever shot! WOWZERS!

And tell me .. don’t you just LOVE the bridesmaid’s dresses?? They were custom designed by Leona, just for this wedding. You should check out her / their blog, they have beautiful designs on there!

I looks like Rebekah’s bridesmaids dresses came in 3 versions, picking up the ruffle-design of Rebekah’s dress. LOVE THEM!

How adorable is this? The ring bearer saluted Mike once he walked down the aisle!!! It doesn’t get more A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!

Unfortunately I wasn’t allowed in the front part of the church, so I had to shoot from the back

Rebekah & Mike had grooms & brides cupcakes and a wedding cake, that incorporated the design of the bridesmaid’s dresses. PRETTY!

I have a feeling my little photos won’t do the dancers / party justice as you really need to see it in big, but it will give you a tasty taste until the gallery is online :o)

I love this photo:

… and I looove this one:

Well, what should I say? It was a fun, fun wedding! I hope you, Rebekah & Mike enjoyed your little preview, the gallery will be online shortly!

Helen & Andrew | Fuller Craft Museum

This is it! My last wedding of the season!! And what a beautiful & crafty (!!) wedding it was!! :o) The title says it all, the couple got married at a CRAFT Museum, so what does one, expect! Haha! Well, Helen got her dress designed by one of her friends (!!), she (Helen) made all the weddingparty gifts herself (aren’t the little robots the cutest things?? / see below), the bridesmaids hairpieces and boutonnieres were done by one of her bridesmaid, Cynthia, the center pieces were also done by one of their friends … and … you have to see their place cards and self made invitations! (WOW, those 2 are just amazing!!)

Enough said, I am sure I forgot to mention a couple projects, but I hope the photos will speak for themselves:

Helen & Andrew held their ceremony & reception at the Fuller Craft Museum in Brockton.

I hope you guys are having the time of your life on Moorea (Gosh, had to look that one up, you guys are right in the middle of the Pacific Ocean!!

WOW – Can’t wait to see *those* photos)  Big hugs! Hope you’re having fun!!

Oh yeah, forgot to mention their RING PILLOW (and on the right you can see the 2 little robots Helen did for the girls)

Haha, check out Helens nail polish, it matches their color scheme :o) Cute!

Just LOVED their invitations! What a fun idea!!

There is something about this photo, I don’t know what it is, but … I just love it. I usually zoom in a lot more to get a close-up of the hands / ring but I really like this version of it.

Helen is one of the sweetest people there is … with the biggest smile EVER!

Loved her hair piece (done by an etsy designer) :o) Photo on the right was taken by Lori:

Toooo cute :o)

The boutonnieres Cynthia made:

And the robots, the guys received as a gift. Andrew is a robot engineer / they both met at MIT, hence those little personal touches :o)

I am seriously IN LOVE with the robots.

Still missing some cute captions, do you guys have any ideas? :o)

Since Helen’s and Andrew’s ceremony was fairly late in the afternoon they decided to do a “first look”

Sometimes it’s all in the candids! :o) Andrew showing off his shave :o)

Not sure anymore what happened here, I think one of the bridesmaids wanted to make sure Helen’s dress was all bustled :o)

Love this one:

But I think this photo is stealing the show. Lori was actually the one that took it, I only processed it :o)

Helen and Andrew are just too cute for words. They have soooo much fun together!

Haha! :o)

And a couple more with the wedding party :o))

What a setting for a ceremony!

They had everybody pass around the rings, for some personal wishes & blessings, what a nice idea!

… and then the ring barer brought it back to the couple :o))

Ok, check out these place cards!! Every guest got a DIFFERENT photo! My goodness, can you imagine??

And they had the guest fill out little questionnaires, haha! This one was filled out by Andrew’s brother:

What a fun wedding to finish the season! Helen and Andrew, thanks so much for letting us be part f your beautiful day!

Thanks to my wonderful second photographer, Lori

Kaitlyn & Michael | Pinehills Golf Club

It’s time again to post some wedding photos, I bet some of you guys have been waiting already! :o)

I met Kaitlyn & Michael a bit over a year ago, and I knew then already that this wedding will be sparkling with some beautiful personal touches as I could tell that Kaitlyn had a great eye for details when she was looking trough my sample albums. And boy, it would be an understatement if I’d say she put a lot of thoughts into the little things. I loved them all. (Uhm, and as a side note, can I mention their fun engagement shoot? – Fun times!) :o)

Kaitlyn & Michael held their ceremony at the beautiful, old First Parish in Plymouth and partied all night long at the Pinehills Golf Club.

I looooved Kaitlyn’s beautiful dress, and did you check out the detail on the hanger and the shoes?? Fun!

Kaitlyn gave her parents embroidered handkerchiefs. I didn’t really read what’s written on them until I started working on the set once I was back home …. and I’ll have to admit it, it brought tears to my eyes when finally read it. Not sure if you’ll be able to read it on the small photo below, so I’ll just type it up:
“Mom, To dry your happy tears on my wedding day, as you have always dried mine. Thank you for teaching me live, laugh and love. I love you always.”
And her dad’s handkerchief says:
“Dad, Thank you for walking by my side today and always. As you give me away today, remember I will always be your little girl. I love you always.”
HOW SWEET IS THIS??

Kaitlyn’s shoes matched perfectly the bridesmaids dresses and their flowers. Love this shade of blue, very pretty

The beautiful bride, Kaitlyn:

Haha, must be one of my favorites from the day. Kaitlyn & her dad:

Kaitlyn & Michael got married at the old First Parish church in Plymouth, whose history dates back to 1620.

A few photos of the guys before the ceremony:

Absolutely LOVE this one:

And how beautiful are these boutonnieres?

Meet Mike, the groom of the day!

And an other one of my favorites:

Isn’t the church just gorgeous?

And a couple in front of the church before we headed out to Plymouth for some more pics:

I seriously loved all the details their had. If I remember correctly this board was give by one of their friends:

Geneve got this one, love it:

Ha! Couldn’t resist to play around with some textures for a couple of shots, call it midnight entertainment (‘caus this wedding photographer gets barely any sleep these days, haha) :o)

Pretty, pretty. What a backdrop!

And a couple with Rachel, their beautiful flower girl:

The Pinehills Golf Club has soo many beautiful hidden spots. Loved shooting there.

You are just a really, really sweet couple, have I told you that already?

One from Geneve‘s set:

I think Kaitlyn got this board. What a fun idea!! :o)

Ok, we’re getting closer to my favoties :o) I’ll start with a couple of Kaitlyn:

Cute, cute, cute :o)

One of my top 2 from the day :o)

Told Mike we were done with the photos, I’d say calling him ‘happy’ would be an understatement, haha … but … there was one more (of course) > I hear Geneve giggling, there is aaaallllways one more when you hire me :o))

Ok, THIS ONE IS IT! This one is my favorite :o)

Details, details, details …. there is nothing better for a photographer (ok, besides a really fun couple to work with – of course)

How about an entrance like this? Haha! Way to go!

Let me tell you, I was happy I had the camera in front of the nose! I don’t remember which toast got me, but … Dear parents of the bride, those were some of the sweetest toasts ever! Boy!

Bahahahahaha (with a happy end – this time anyay, haha):

That’s it for now! What a wedding! I hope you guys are enjoying your honeymoon in Costa Rica!! Have some cocktails for me at the pool. I’ll talk to you soooon :o)

Thanks again (for the last time for a while) to my woooooonderful second shooter Geneve, please visit her website, she does beautiful work!

Ok, so after every wedding post I tell myself to never do such a loooong post again, and somehow they just keep getting longer and longer, haha … I need help! I just can’t narrow down photos, but hey, I guess there are worse problems to have ;o)

Katrina & Billy held their ceremony at the beautiful Saint Patrick’s church in Wareham and had a hell of a party at the Beachmoor.I hope you guys are ready for this sneaky “preview” … get your fingers ready, there is a loooot of scrolling to do :o)

Katrina got ready at the Beachmoor, gotta say, it’s like a little hidden treasure with looooots of pretty rooms with loooot of cute little details (and Katrina, loved that dress! WOW):

I heard mom put the rhinestones on Katrina’s shoes, how pretty!

Meet Katrina, the pretty bride:

Awww :o)

Love how Billy’s smile got bigger, the closer Katrina came :o)

They released butterflies in front of the church! How cool!

Did you spot Katrina’s touch of purple in (or rather under) her dress? :o)

Love this one:

Cute, cute, cute!

And this one is my absolute favorite :o)

Look at all the details and check out that sandcastle cake! :o)

I hope she forgave you … make sure you never forget the anniversary and you always give her a nice gift on that special day, because maaaaaaaan, you should be happy she took you on that honeymoon, haha!

Ok, last series of photos from this set :o) Katrina’s uncle said he’d only come to the wedding if they’d serve some Papa Gino’s Pizza, haha! Sooo guess what they served as a little (almost) Midnight snack :o)) He sure looked reallly happy, haha!

Laurie & Ian | Indian Pond Country Club

Time for some new photooooos :o)

Laurie & Ian celebrated their beautiful wedding at Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston. Having flashbacks? Yup, I was there just a couple of weeks ago, haha!

Oh, and I can’t post photos of their wedding, without mentioning their fabulous videographer, Timothy Bakland! He was so much fun to work with, and I can’t believe how quickly he posted their preview. I usually don’t get to see the final video (nor a preview), so it’s usually really hard for me to recommend *any* videographers. Having said this, have a look at Laurie’s & Ian’s preview and judge yourself. I’d say: WOW! Amazing!

Laurie & Ian, you guys had such a beautiful wedding, I hope you enjoy your “little” preview. :o)

I hope you guys are having a faaaabulous time in Fiji – boy am I jealous!! :o)

We had a bit extra time while the girls were getting ready, so we had some fun with some detail shots … maybe too much fun :o)

What a beautiful group :o)

Hmmmm, and don’t you just love her colors & flowers?

Meet Laurie, the beautiful bride:

And some photos of the guys …

Let’s see how they do it, same room, same couch … Not too shabby, right? :o)

I’d say that’s LOVE … oh wait …

Meet Ian, the handsome groom:

I’d say Laure got the seal of approval from the guys + the girls seem to like Ian also … YAY :o)

A pose from my good old days, from my first wedding … doesn’t get old :o)

Pretty, pretty :o)

Stole that one form Geneve‘s set, beautiful

My 2010 signature shot :oD

And this one is one of my VERY favorites

And this is my other favorite shot. Might be not everybody’s cup of tea, but I love it :o)

YAYA :o)

Pretty, pretty. Laurie is a designer, can you tell?

Laurie & Ian did a first dance test-run while everybody was still at the cocktail hour, so I am sneaking some of those photos in the set also :o)

That’s one lucky photographer :o) Love the flash flare.

And yup, they had a big party! There was loooots of dancing:

And the photographer got lucky a second time that night. Love this shot:

Jessica & Chris | Providence Biltmore Hotel, RI

Alright, I will admit it, I am not a good writer. Haha. I started of putting little captions in between the photos after I uploaded the photos, and all that came in my mind was “beautiful” & “pretty” – that’s because it just really was! So I guess I’ll maybe just let the photos speak for themselves for once. :o)

Jessica & Chris, thanks so much for sharing your BEAUTIFUL day with us. It was a truly wonderful wedding at a wonderful venue, and you 2 were wonderful to work with, … what should I say, it was just a really PRETTY wedding! :o) My very best wishes to both of you & I hope you guys are enjoying Hawai’i :o)

Celina & Brian got married at the Hall of Springs in beautiful Saratoga, NY. I’ve never been there before so this was my first visit and I have to say, it’s a truly beautiful city & venue to get married at! It was a HOT (hot, hot, hot AND humid – oh so humid day), BUT, after the initial rain the sky opened up and we had nothing but beautiful weather. It sure was a sublime wedding.

I hope you guys enjoy your preview – this time with some party shots :o)

Oh and btw!! Did you guys see this, you got featured on your venue’d blog! :o)

I loved your beautiful necklace, Celinda! So very pretty!

Jennifer & Dennis | New Seabury Country Club

The most difficult part for me, when posting some new wedding photos is the writing part, I am not good at it and it’s always the last thing on my to-do list, haha. There is no way, my words will do this wedding justice, and I’m having real difficulties expressing how much I loved being part of your big day! Everything looked so beautiful, and you guys are such a sweet, kind, loving couple! …. Jen, I think I’ll always remember you as “the bride that never stopped smiling” :o) What a day, I don’t blame you :o)

Jennifer & Dennis held their ceremony at the First Congregational Church in Falmouth, and held their reception at the beautiful New Seabury County Club on the Cape.

Thanks so much to both of you for a wonderful day. A very special thank you also to both sides of the family, you were ALL sooooo very nice, and wonderful to work with! Thank you so much for letting us be part of your big day!

Fist off … Jen, I am obsessed with your shoes … there, I admit it … SO VERY PRETTY!

Meet Jennifer, the beautiful bride:

Ok, you think this is gorgeous? ….

… Look at this!! WOWZER!

The beautiful bridesmaids, loved the dresses and the little blingy details:

Sometimes I wish I had audio attached to my photos, everybody was singing on the way to the church …

Don’t cry … you’ll make the photographer cry too …

Not sure if you can see it on this photo, but the bottom of Jen’s bouquet had such a pretty lacy detail … looked so elegant!

Look at that veil & the colors of the water, how cool! The water must be reflecting the clear blue sky we had.

Some more traditional poses, pretty, pretty, what a setting …

And some more “untraditional” of the girls that Jen wanted to have. Love them!

The handsome groom Dennis:

Loove this shot:

… and this one too:

What a fun couple … I barely had to pose them!

Hehe:

Gooorgeous:

Gorgeous, cute … fun … you cover it all!

And this one took my breath away when I saw it:

Melissa & Jake | Aldrich Mansion, RI

Wow!! What a wedding. Well, first off let me say … Melissa, I loved your dress … I loved your flowers, I loved your colors, I loved your details and I just loooved your venue, … you guys had such an awesome day!! I knew I’d be in trouble once I looked at your huge set of engagement photos we got, but this is even topping that one!

Melissa & Jake held their ceremony & reception at Aldrich Mansion in Rhode Island. If you’re still looking for a venue … seriously … you HAVE to go and visit them, this is one of the nicest wedding venues I’ve seen, and they’re all sooo nice there!

The beautiful bride, Melissa:

Oh, I just L-O-V-E this shot of you Melissa, you should be in a magazine!!

Meet Jake:

The classic shot, how could one ever resist taking it:

The Aldrich Mansion has this beautiful, grand entrance:

I took a loooot of photos of Aldrich Mansion that day, just couldn’t get enough of it:

Oh do I love this one:

Melissa & Jake decided to have their photos taken beforehand, so here are a couple photos of their first glimpse at each other:

Melissa, I loved your flowers, soooo pretty!!

What a day!!

Isn’t she just beautiful??

Here are a couple Lori (my second shooter) took. So pretty:

Yup, an other shot of the mansion :o) … and it’s not the last one :o))

The mansion had this cool, old-school bathroom, haha … :

Oh, and you should have seen the on site “chapel”. It’s HUGE!!

Sayaka & Duncan • State Room, Boston

Sayaka & Duncan, I’ve been looking forward to working on your photos and finally managed to pull together some of my favorites. :o)

There is so much I could say about your wedding, yet my words would never do you guys justice! For everybody that doesn’t remember Sayaka & Duncan from one of my previous entries, click here and read how we met.

It never actually happened that A) I ran into a couple that got engaged that *same* day (by accident) B) I never ended up asking a couple if I could possibly document their big day (usually it’s the other way around, haha)! :o)) I knew the day I met you, that your wedding will be wonderful! There are not many people that fill a room with their love to each other like you guys do! But enough said, here’s a little sneak peek to your HUGE set! More photos to come (especially from your ceremony & reception), I’m just not quite there yet with my processing … ;o)

Sayaka & Duncan held their ceremony at the Post Office Square Park & continued their festivities at the State Room in downtown Boston.

Can’t restist posting these 2 out-takes:

The cute ring barear: (you should not put me in a room with a baby / toddler these days if you want me to continue shooting, haha … what a CUTIE!)

Some of their gorgeous details at their venue. I love the State Room, it’s such a pretty venue, and boy the viiiewwwww!!

What a beautiful view!!

I couldn’t decide which dance photos to post, you guys got SO many. So here is a little selection :o)

Can you tell yet that they took some Ball Room Dancing classes together? WOW!

Duncan, you owe me a tissue (or two)! I don’t think I’ve ever cried that much during a speech, haha! Luckily I could hide behind my camera, I hope you don’t have any evidence on video ;o))

Words will not describe how much I respect the love you guys have for each other and for the people around you. You are a true inspiration!

Thank you SO much for letting me be part of your very special day, I feel so lucky I ran into you that April 25th!

A special thanks goes also to my 2nd shooter Suzanna

Alexis & William | Lake View Pavilion

Guess who’s baaaack?? :o) I had a bit of a late start this season (if you’re still waiting for an email from me, I’m sorry …. yup, I’m totally behind with everything at the moment), guess life DOES change when you get a baby :o)

I could have honestly not asked for a better kick-off wedding. Alexis & William celebrated their fun Greek-Irish (huh?) wedding at the beautiful Lake View Pavilion in Foxboro. I’m honestly in LOVE with this venue. L-O-V-E, so pretty! You’ll see why …. and the ceremony was at the beautiful Annunciation Cathedral in Boston, what a gem!

This post has wayyyy too many photos, I’m sorry … I just wasn’t able to choose my favorites … guess there are worse problems to have :o)

Congrats Alexis & William, thanks for letting us share your fun, fun wedding day!!! I love you guys!

What a beautifuuul dress. And you should have seen her veil!! WOW!!

The goorgeous bride:

Do you recognize the pretty lady on the left? Hi Kara :o)

Check our Alexis’ beauutiful flowers. aren’t they pretty? Love the colors, love the flowers you chose and I love the bow. Just beautiful!

Love these:

This must be love … oh wait …

Yup it was raining … of course …. it’s New Eng(RAIN)land weather after all. But we DID end up getting some outdoor shots (phew!), so the photographer was happy.

Love the Annunciation Cathedral!

Thank God for a funny bridal party … makes it soo much easier for us …

… and for a funny groom … :o)

Guess on which side the paparazzis were:

Ok, I have to admit, I have this big issue with “photo rooms” at venues … they’re ugly, let’s face it! BUT I love this one. The photo room at the Lake View Pavilion must be the pretties I’ve ever seen … and if it would have been raining, I would have loved to shoot there … :

By the time we got to the venue we had goorgeous weather & perfect light, PHEW!!

Have I told you how much I love the Lake View Pavilion???? Look at those beautiful drapes, sooooo pretty!

Bill: “Does she make funny faces yet?” …………………….. Maybeeeeeeeeee? :o)

What a handsome couple!!!

Look at them!! Sooo handsome!

Love this one:

They had their own paparazzis!!! You should have seen them in the Cathedral, haha!

There was no doubt that the dance floor would be packed that night. What a fun crowd!! :o)

Hehe …

Drapes, drapes … eeeeverywhere …. soooooo pretty!

Loved the sweetheart table too!

Alexis & William had SUCH a HUGE dessert buffet, that I thought it deserved it’s own little collage. Your life together is going to be SWEET, that’s for sure!

Well, one thing is for sure. Greeks know how to throw a party. They love their music, they know how to dance, and they sure know how to cook / bake delicious foods! But wait … am I spotting a wedding crasher??

I hope you are having a fabulous time in Caboooo :o)

A special thanks to my 2nd shooter: Geneve

Nicole & Rafael | Al Cielo, Xpu-Ha Beach, Mexico

I looooove destination weddings :o) This time I was lucky enough to shoot a wedding in Mexico at the beautiful Al Cielo Hotel on Xpu-Ha Beach. Nicole & Rafael escaped (just in time) the East Coast snow storm and celebrated their wedding with friends & family under palm trees. Just gorgeous:

Since the ceremony was close to sunset tim, we took some photos before the “Yes, I do”. Here are some photos of them having the first glimpse at each other:

We took soooo many beautiful photos (how couldn’t one, with such a beautiful couple at this beautiful beach ..), that it was really hard for me to narrow them down to just a couple of favorites, haha!

Hmmmm, one of my favorites of Nicole, so pretty:

Nicole & Rafael had some mariachi singers during the ceremony. Loved their original outfits. :o)

What a setting! Al Cielo is such a pretty place for a wedding & they’re all soo nice there!

Nicole & Rafael decided that the guests should write the vows for them, and they would read them out loud to each other. Some of the guests were especially creative! :o))

I want to get married again! …. is it to early for a vow renewal after only 5 years of marriage? :o)

Hmmmm, and their hors d’oeuvres looked toooooo delicious:

And a pic of Sarah, Tim & cute lill’ Braden (one of my 2007 couples). Hi guys! :o)

Loved the placecards. What a cute idea! :o)

Yup, it was beautiful!

And some pics from their fun party:

Nicole & Rafael, I have no words. Your wedding was simply breathtaking! Thanks so much for having us! I hope you enjoyed this little sneak Peek :o)

A special thanks to the lovely Geneve, who joined me on our little trip :o)

And thanks also to Donaji from Whimsical Weddings Tulum, one of the nicest wedding planners I’ve ever worked with.
