Sarah & Domenic • Aldrich Mansion, Warwick, RI

It’s time to post some wedding photos again, are you guys ready for a little sneak peek into one of my most recent weddings?

My couples take me to the most beautiful places, how spoiled am I?! Sarah & Domenic got married at the GORGEOUS Aldrich Mansion, it is truly such a perfect place for a wedding, with soooo many beautiful spots for photos and beautiful history, it’s a dream for any photographer and it just screams elegance!

I am really excited to share this set, it was such a beautiful day – even if quite hot and humid a little thunderstorm ended up taking the edge away and the weather cleared up just in time for everybody to enjoy the beautiful view towards the water during cocktail hour.

Sarah & Nick, I hope you guys had an AMAZING time in Paris, I envied you for all the tasty food you guys were most likely eating and all the fun stuff you were seeing, … ah Europe …. how I miss you!

I hope you enjoy this little sneak peek, thanks for letting us capture your memorable day and a very special thanks to my second photographer Geneve who has been shooting on my side for FIVE years, wow how time flies – I included some of her photos below :o)

Sarah’s gorgeous dress, loved the lace and soft color! Soso beautiful!

Absolutely loved the soft colors of the flowers, so pretty! :o) … and the ring bearer’s pillow … too cute!

Isn’t the ring bearer’s outfit just toooo cute??? :o)

And a few portraits of the beautiful bride, Sarah :o)

and a few of Nick too :o)

I am so happy Sarah & Nick chose to do a first-look, so we could get the posed photos out of the way BEFORE the ceremony especially as there was a thunderstorm during the service and because the venue is just so big, it would have been such a shame to rush those photos! Thanks for allllllll the time you guys put aside for the photos! <3

Gotta love a fun bridal party :o) So sorry I chased you guys around during that heat, haha … I felt awful! You guys sure were great sports about it! :o)

A few of just the happy couple. Seriously – I looooove the Aldrich grounds! I bet you could shoot there every weekend and you’d keep discovering new spots.

And a few from the water front :o) Ahhhh, ocean side weddings – you know how to make me happy! :o)

SO MANY beautiful spots!!! And we’re not done yet!!

One of my favorites from the day, showing off the beautiful Aldrich Mansion!

Aaaaaand the gorgeous entrance! I mean, seriously!!! What a perfect spot to get married!!!!

Hey, gotta finish up in the tub, right? :o))

Looking happy! :o))

And I loved all of their details, especially the pretty place card holders … the flowers …. and plates, glasses …. everything looked SOOOO pretty!

Thank you everybody for a wonderful day!!!

Featured in Destination Weddings & Honeymoons

Wohooooo!!!!! Sososo excited I can finally share the news, I’ve been sitting on them for like 2 months now and just couldn’t wait to finally show off Pamela’s & David’s real wedding feature in Destination Weddings & Honeymoons!! Pamela & David celebrated their wedding a year ago at the beautiful boutique Hotel Las Ranitas in Tulum, Mexico. Honestly, if you haven’t seen their whole set, you GOTTA check out my post and have a look at allllll the pretty details Pamela put together and …. hey, check out the Trash The Dress shoot we did too – They’re one GORGEOUS couple, and I’m sure everybody that knows them would agree …. they’re one of the sweetest couples ever – and I mean EVER!! And while you’re getting all inspired, grab a copy of Destination Weddings & Honeymoons – even if your wedding won’t be a destination event, the magazine is beautiful and offers lots and lots of ideas for your own wedding!

Ankita & Sachin • Engaged! :o)

Soso excited to share this next set. I just realized that I haven’t shot any engagement photos in a while, as most of my couples this year are planning their weddings from out of State and I won’t get to meet them until a couple of days before the wedding. I was so excited to hang out with Ankita and Sachin for a little while on Harvard University, where they just graduated from. They took me to some of their favorite spots on campus and I loved how they remembered the place where they first laid eyes on each other – up to where he proposed. They are both such a sweet couple and I’m so excited to be shooting their wedding at the the Museum of Science in downtown Boston! I’ll share a few outtakes on here also, just because I can’t resist, think the outtakes kinda show their sweet, loving and funny personalities best – a truly wonderful couple! <3 Can’t wait to see you guys again soon! :o)

Who said engagement photos are all serious business? :o)

Love these two :o))

Sachin wanted to make sure I get a few photos of where he proposed to his sweet Ankita :o)

We kinda ran out of light by the end of the shoot and decided to get a few last shots downtown Cambridge. Goodness, LOVE the lights in the back, and look how Ankita’s beautiful dress matches the colors. A PERFECT ending to a fun shoot! :o)

Maryellen & Brendan • Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club

My goodness, I just realized that I haven’t updated my blog for a while, yiiikes … but I’ve been busy designing (15!) albums … yup, that’s fifteen! Crazy!

Well, I am sooo excited to share photos from my last wedding this year! It really couldn’t have been a better end to my 2012 season! A gorgeous, sweet-as-can-be couple, getting married on the Cape … at a gooorgeous venue (oh and some overcast sky that makes the photo part nice and easy for me)! YUP, I’m ONE LUCKY photographer! :o)

Maryellen & Brendan, I hope you’re enjoying the last couple of days on your honeymoon. Thank you soooo much for sharing your special day with us, I hope you enjoy your little sneak peek :o)

Shaleen & Daniel • Cobb Hill Estate

Hmmmm … well, I was thinking I could try describing my next wedding with one single word, but I couldn’t come up with just ONE. How about 4? Sweet, intimate, touching and inspiring?.

Right after I read Shaleen’s very first email to me I KNEW their wedding would be special. It was definitely not one of those emails were you think that the bride copy pasted her wedding details into 50 emails and sent them to all the photographers in the area she could think of. After we exchanged a few emails, I had the pleasure meeting them both in NY for our “interview” that made me even more excited about their big day! What should I say, the engagement session was a whole lot of fun (even if we got into quite some rain!), it was so nice getting to know them and hearing about how they met and how Dan proposed (Shaleen, I think I’ll have to ask you to type that story up for me at some point, it’s just too sweet!) and I gotta say, they could have not chosen a better venue for their celebration! The Cob Hill Estate is a truly wonderful place, overlooking the NH hills; very intimate and close to nature with a wonderful rustic feel. Now, I have been to quite a few weddings … and uhm … seen a lot of wedding shows (probably too many if you ask my husband), and there are so many brides that get lost in all their details and love for perfection – not saying that this wedding wasn’t perfect, in fact … it WAS! Shaleen & Dan did SUCH a beautiful job making the day all about them and their love for each other. The ceremony was just SO wonderful … uhm, I *think* I might have seen some tears here and there … I gotta say, the vows & letters really got me (more about that later), the whole atmosphere was just so relaxed and everybody had a wonderful time – what do you want more? A perfect wedding.

Sooooo … as mentioned … I knew Shaleen would come up with some cute details, but little did I know just HOW creative she (uhm … they) would be! It doesn’t happen often that I want to take my camera out before I see the bride, but … this time was different! Look what Shaleen & Daniel prepared for the guests to read on the way to the Estate (the first few photos were taken by my lovely second shooter, Sharona)

Look at that beautiful garter and handkerchief … that both of them used to wipe away their tears during their ceremony:

Shaleen’s sister helped her with her make-up:

Shaleen decided to wear the pearl necklace, Daniel gave her on their first (!) date. How wonderful!

Mrs gorgeous:

Just love this one:

My goodness, do I love this photo of you Shaleen!

And some of sweet Dan:

Love this one that Sharona took :o))

Soso pretty!

Love this one, caught by Sharona:

Shaleen & Daniel sealed a box with letters for each other and letters from their parents as well as a bottle of wine that I think they’ll get to open on their 10th anniversary! What a wonderful idea! I’ve only seen one couple do something similar. LOVE the idea and boy do I want to be a fly on your wall when you read those letters! <3

Shaleen  & Daniel planned in a few minutes for just themselves after the ceremony – they’re so sweet! :o))

Look at that!!! I’d say that’s ONE HAPPY groom! :o))

And look at those perfect favors! Love, love, love!

Down to the Thank You tag, just perfect!

Loved this little guy :o) At their engagement session we had a little snail visit us, and this time we had a caterpillar, how fitting :o) Bet you had butterflies on your honeymoon ;o))

Guestbook, but of course not the ordinary kind! No, Shaleen & Dan asked their guests to find and circle words in an old dictionary that “define their love”:

And how pretty and fitting is the sitting chart? How creative!

Loved the cake too! Birch style!

Let’s talk about dragon flies :o)) They were EVERYWHERE (and I thought we had a mosquito problem, haha!). I honestly didn’t see any the day off, but when I started processing the photos they were just everywhere! So, when I opened up the below photo, my eye automatically wandered to the roof of the house …. so I zoomed in … that was not a dragon fly … those were TWO birds! I mean … come on right?!?! I guess it was a lucky catch also as I took about 4 shot of the same pose and one of the birds must have only been there for a little while as this is the only photo with both birdies in it. Yup, you guys are THAT lucky – and nope, there’s no photoshop magic involved in that one! :o) … and … if I may say so … that one killer sunset shot in my book (you guys know I don’t like posing my couples in front of sunsets – but every once in a while there is a time and place for it) :o)

This one was actually taken at night. I prefer the light sepia version to the color for some reason (and yup, that’s the moon). And with this photo I am finishing this beautiful set. I hope you guys enjoyed the sneak peek, the full gallery will be available later tonight to start chilling the champagne and make yourself a cozy evening :o)

Thank you for letting me capture your beautiful event, Shaleen & Dan – best wishes for a wonderful life together!

A special thank you to my second photographer Sharona Jacobs, for shooting with me that day (some of her photos are included in this post)

Amanda & Sean • Pinehills Golf Club

Time for yet an other wedding post before I will spice up my blog with some baby photos – one of which is due tomorrow, so let’s all keep mommy in our minds :o)

I’m always excited when I get inquiries for my favorite wedding venues, and of course I got really excited when I heard that Amanda & Sean were planning to have their reception at the beautiful Pinehills Golf Club. Unfortunately the weather didn’t really want to cooperate – of course it started pouring as soon as we started with our posed photos – booo :oI But I think we made the best out of it, with some help from THE sweetest onsite wedding coordinator, Katy :o) … and in the end I *know* everybody had a fabulous time (that was a heck of a party!), Amanda looked of course gorgeous (uhm, Sean didn’t look to shabby either) :o) and rain is supposed to bring luck after all, right? You guys are blessed, that’s for sure :o))

I hope you guys had an amaaaaaazing time in Aruba! :o) Thanks so much for letting me capture your beautiful day! :o) Ready for a little sneak peek? Here we go ….

Amanda & Sean held their ceremony at St. Mary Parish and their fun, colorful reception at the Pinehills Golf Club.

Beautiful Amanda on her wedding day:

And Mr Sean – the handsome groom :o)

Look at that beaaaaautiful blue sky!! Grrrrr …. Dear Petrus, could you not have waited about one more hour?? :oI But I guess I can’t complain – I’m glad we got a few sunny ones :o)

Love this one, that sweet Geneve caught:

What a pretty church!

Ok, you would never believe it looking at this photo, but there was thunder and lightning in the background … eeeeeek! That’s one brave bridal party :o))

What a pretty couple!

Aaaand that was the last shot before the rain chased us away :o( SO glad we got a few with the beautiful background – I love Pine Hills Golf Club for SO many different reasons!

Luckily the happy couple kept smiling for me :o)

And after the weather got REALLY mad at us we sneaked inside for a few more shots:

Aaaaaah, Pinehills Golf Club! They have SUCH a beautiful, bright, airy indoor space. Just SO pretty!

And the party began … :o)

Pamela & David • Destination Wedding at Las Ranitas, Tulum, Mexico

I know many people have been patiently waiting for this post – it’s been a long time coming … as much as I was dying to share these photos, as soon as I had a first peek at them I knew I’d have a hard time choosing favorites.

I gotta say, sweet Pamela is ONE artsy bride with a beautiful taste! I have never seen such a colorful wedding in my life! It was like a festival of colors and emotions! What a wedding, what a week! I had a very special feeling when I got the first email from Pamela that this wedding will be different – this girl put a LOT of thoughts and love into everything she did … starting with the “message in a bottle” wedding invitation, the Mayan ceremony, the gorgeous venue in Tulum … all the “little” details and last but not least … our day after shoot! I have no words for this wedding! I think everybody that came to Mexico to celebrate with Pamela & David agrees, it was *just beautiful* event and you guys are SUCH a sweet and special couple, I’ll keep you in my heart for forever!

Pamela and David got ready at the Grand Palladium, White Sand and held their Mayan Ceremony as well as their reception at the gorgeous Las Ranitas, Tulum, Mexico

Shhhhht, are you ready for this? Here we go:

Look at that wonderful, custom made wedding gown AND Pamela’s beautiful necklace that she did herself!

What a beautiful bride!

Check out the back of the necklace! Pretty, right???!! She also did the girl’s necklaces (told you, she’s ONE CRAFTY bride!), while grandma made their dresses!

Cuteness! Pamela’s nieces:

SO gorgeous!

Look at the colors!! everybody was wearing a different color dress!

Couldn’t resist to put the next two photos next to each other :o) Love the blue! These were taken at Las Ranitas.

Meet the groom David! :o)

Mr. Handsome :o)

Told you! Festival of colors! :o) David & Pamela had some Mayan Dancers perform a dance before the ceremony! I wish I could ad music to my photos. It was just SO fun!

Ahhh so pretty! I wish I could go back in time!

And one of all the guests! :o) Look at the coloooooors!!! HOW FUN!

Family!

My goodness!! Will it be awkward if I hang some of your wedding photos on my wall?? Haha!

Fiesta!!

Did I mention that those two lovebirds got married exactly 10 years after they met in Mexico? On cinco de mayo.

<3

I really had a hard time putting ANY of these photos into sepia, but thought it fit for this photo …

Duckies for Good Luck (heard that putting duckies into the ocean is a Mexican custom?). They sure are one LUCKY couple and I was ONE LUCKY photographer!!

Gotta love David :o))) He was making fun of me posing Pamela :o)))) David, you got some moves! Bet GQ will call you right after I make this post public :o))

The message in a bottle aka coolest destination wedding invitation EVER!

SUNSET! Could the colors be any prettier???

Sneaking in a photo I took of them at the Grand Palladium:

Back at the venue:

I mean seriously! Look at those FUN “table cloths” … and colorful frames – that I believe P&D brought from home!

and now check out their table settings! Colors, colors, colors! They made the napkins & napkin rings, the signs, brought the vases from home .. check out the drink (key) charms. Love, love, love!

Flowers for your hair ladies? This bride thought of everything!

and look at that pretty view! What a PERFECT location, Las Ranitas is directly at the beach, just so pretty and perfectly BREEZY!

Oh and like this was enough …. check out their little Mexican-Tequila-shots!!!

Sneaking one more photo in from the hotel:

I have decided to include Pamela’s & David’s Trash the Dress / Day After photos into the same post, because I really don’t want you to miss them :o) So here we go:

What a dream bride, right?

Pamela got in touch with a cenote owner and organized us private access to a couple of cenotes! How fun!!! I could have photographed those two the entire day … well … with some swimming pool breaks maybe … hehe … it was HOT out in cenote-land! :o))) But OH SO WORTH the trip! We started the next day bright and early with the drive to the cenotes … and ended up doing a few more photos at their / our pretty hotel the Grand Palladium, White Sand:

a little break in between photo-locations :o)

That’s it! WOW! Uhm ….. I don’t know about you guys, but I’ll miss posting photos from this wedding!

My first wedding of the season! :o) I have to admit, spring weddings make me somewhat nervous (and I won’t ven mention how winter weddings make me feel, haha), you never know how the weather will be and what to do, when the weather won’t cooperate? Not much one can really do, and you just have to hope the couple will make the best out of it. But luckily the weather Gods were with us this time (not like during Tara’s & John’s engagement shoot, haha), and booooy was it a gorgeous day! Filled with lots of love (spring was in the air after all) :o) and many, many hugs.

Tara & John, you guys are a truly wonderful couple – I hope you don’t mind me posting some funny outtakes, I just thought they belonged in your set, as you sure knew how to make everybody smile and have a good time :o)

Tara & John held their ceremony at the Unity Church of North Easton and had an awesome party at the beauuuutiful Lakeview Pavilion afterwards (you just can’t go wrong with this venue!).

Ready? Let’s start with some getting ready photos :o)

Found one of Tara’s old dolls in her old room :o)

Excuse all the ring photos, just loved it so much :o)

And check out the heart right in the middle! Never seen this cut before, how pretty!

Sweet Michelle from Demiche did such a wonderful job <3 An artist at work … She’s definitely THE hair and make-up artist you have to book!

Beautiful Tara, the bride. Look at those pretty eyes and beautiful smile! She told me she couldn’t stop smiling, and in deed she didn’t :o)

And Mr John, the groom :o)

:o))

Tara & John decided to do a first look (have their posed photos taken before the ceremony), so we wanted to make the first moment where they see each other for the first time that day special …

So, so sweet!

This one was taken by Geneve …. Sigh, soooo pretty!

Loooooved Tara’s color palette!

:o))

This little series cracks me up. I have a feeling John’s guys had a hard time to let him go :o))

Kinda a must-have photo … just won’t get old + I’m always SO happy if the bridal party is up for it :o)

The proud parents:

I really liked the park around the library where we took the first few photos, but I just KNEW we’d have to at least ask the property owner next to the church if we could take some photos in their BEAUTIFUL garden as soon as we pulled into the church parking lot. Luckily  Tara & John have an awesome maid of honor and best man that worked their magic and BOY do I loooove the next few photos! What a setting!! (Can you imagine owning such a gorgeous garden??!!) A big big thank you to the owner of the estate to let us shoot on their property!

There is just something about this photo … maybe it’s the spark in Tara’s eye? They look just so very happy!

Aaaaaah spring! What a beautiful, beautiful day!

Couldn’t decide which one to post …. so I’ll post them both :o)

Tara & John held their ceremony at the Unity Church of North Easton

After their ceremony we took some more quick photos at the Lakeview Pavilion before they were introduced for the first time as Mrs and Mr :o)

LOVE this photo :o)

Naaaaah, gorgeous!!

And this one makes my heart beat faster!! Perfect and sooo gorgeous!!

You just really can’t go wrong when you’re booking your reception at the Lakeview Pavilion, not only is everybody there just SUPER nice, but they just make your party ook sooooo awesome! I love their interior (think they just re-did it not too long ago), the drapes … the colors …. the furniture …. their outdoor space, it’s just PERFECT for a wedding.

Loved T &’s signing “board”, the guests “engrave” their wishes on a sheet of metal! How cool and unique! I have never seen this before – I’m sure it’ll look gorgeous on their wall too!

Aaaah parent dances! They get me … esp now that we have two kids, so happy I have the best excuse to have a camera in front of my face, haha!

Hugs, hugs, and more hugs! This couple is loved and they know how to party! Huge props to Mike Amado from Entertainment Specialists to make the night unforgettable!

I LOVE this venue!

What a wedding, what a couple! Tara and John, I hope you guys had a woonderful honeymoon in Jamaica!! :o)

Melissa & Mat | Mount Washington Hotel, Bretton Woods, NH

I somehow have a feeling I should start this blog post with “Once upon a time ….” :o) What a fun, fun wedding!!!

Melissa contacted me only a few months ago and asked if I’d consider shooting a wedding in NH, and I have to be honest, …. one usually has to convince me to do a November wedding – you just can’t ever predict the weather and I love taking the posed photos outside. BUT I met Melissa & Mat at their friends wedding that I shot last year, and dear I say …. they are BOTH 2 of the nicest couples I’ve ever met … so … how could one EVER resist + who would ever say no to a backdrop like Mount Washington??? – Right.

Well, I am pretty sure it’s safe to say that EVERYBODY had a blast that weekend, what a goooorgeous day they had! Thank you both SO much for having us photograph your very special day – Darcy and I had an absolute blast and I LOVED seeing all the bridesmaids again – how fun!! And thanks also for being up for taking photos outside … in the cold …. and the super bright sunlight (eeek) … we all know how freezing it was that day, haha! :o) You guys are an awesome couple – I’d make the trip any day to have you in front of my lens again!

I hope you guys had a woooooonderful time on St. John (boy did I envy you!!!!) and I hope you enjoy the little sneak peek before you get to see the rest of the photos hopefully later tonight :o)

Melissa & Mat held their ceremony at the St. Rose of Lima, Littleton, NH and had their reception at the gorgeous Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, NH.

Aren’t those flowers absolutely stunning??? I’ve never seen roses like those!

Meet Melissa, the pretty bride:

One from Darcy, LOVE the light!

And two more from Darcy:

Can you believe that place???? We came just in time! PERFECT light – even if it was a *bit* chilly by that time :o))

A few detail / interior shots :o)

And a photo of sweet Jen & Dennis who got married last year :o) Hi guys! :o)

Alright, I’ll confess, I didn’t know which ones to post, so here are a few from their first dance. SO pretty!

Smiles, smiles, smiles!

Way to make even the famous table shot fun! :o))

Party photos!!! And boy did they have a party! Put 200 fuuun people, an awesome band and a really cool DJ in a big room and see what happens! Good times!

Sarah & Bobby • Trash The Dress Shoot on Cape Cod

I haven’t done a trash the dress shoot in sooo long, and I can’t even tell you how much I love shooting them! ESPECIALLY when I get to do them with a sweet couple like Sarah & Bobby! I’m getting spoiled! :o) The weather that day was a … different story … As some of you guys know my Cape Cod week was not so kind to me, haha! I think Sarah & I canceled the shoot about 6 times that day, BUT they ended up driving all the way to the Cape after all and even if the weather changed it’s mind every second minute, I think we got an awesome set, but you guys will have to see for yourself!

Sarah & Bobby, thank you SO much for staying positive the entire time – raindrops, thunderstorm or bright sunshine, you  guys were so much fun to shoot and a truly sweet, sweet couple! <3

Doncha just love this photo?

Such a handsome couple!

And I just looove this one!! Prettyness!

Look at those blue eyes!!!

Amy & Geordie | Newbury Country Club, Mashpee

I can not wait to share this wonderful Cape Cod set with you! Amy & Geordie said YES at the beautiful New Seabury Country Club a few weeks ago, definitely one of my favorite places on the Cape!

It was just such a pretty summer day, not too hot, yet sunny and when you closed your eyes you could hear the waves from the far! I looooove the Cape!!

Thank you SO much for letting me capture your wonderful day, Amy & Geordie! I hope you had a wonderful honeymoon on Barbados :o) I hope you enjoy your little recap (since you’ve seen the entire gallery already) :o)

Isn’t that Amy’s ring just gorgeous??

Look at those blue eyes!! Amazing!

The pretty bride, Amy:

Ohhhh my goodnesss, this going to be a mega post, haha! Not sure if you guys are ready, but here we go :o)

I wanted to share a “few” photos from Joyce & Daniel’s gorgeous wedding at Turner Hill in Ipswich. It was a gooorgeous (yet very, very hot!) day. They both got ready at a mansion their family rented for a couple of days to celebrate their union. Stone House on Sharksmouth Estate located in Manchester-by-the-Sea is SUCH a beautiful house, entering it was just like stepping back in time. I loved it’s beautiful old (original!) interior all the original photos and paintings and other pretty furniture … what a place!

Joyce & Daniel held their ceremony & reception at the pretty Turner Hill – you guys know how to make a photographer happy! :o) I was in heaven :o)

I hope you enjoy your “little” sneak peek … Sorry for alllll the posed photos, I just couldn’t decide which ones to post, sooooo :o) And a VEERY special thank you for coming along to Karman Lee, my second photographer that day who took some very pretty photos! Thanks Karman!

Congrats to both of you!! :o)

Love the following 2 photos from my wonderful 2nd photographer, Karman Lee

Gosh do I love this photo, isn’t Joyce just gooorgeous???

Cute! :o)

And I loooove the following 2 also :o)

What a place! I love old staircases :o)

And I looove the following photos of Daniel!

Joyce and Daniel decided to do a “first look” in order to be able to take a few photos at the mansion before we headed out to Turner Hill … I always love it when couples decide to do that :o)

Seriously …. can this path be any prettier?

Mrs Gorgeous!

love, love, love!

And they are SUCH a sweet couple!

Before we headed out Joyce and her family held a Chinese Tea Ceremony:

And then they sent her off – The Chinese way :o)

Sheeza & Tony | Hilton Boston Logan Airport

Time for an other wedding post! :o)

Sheeza and Tony got married a little bit over a week ago at the Hilton Logan in Boston. They’re such a sweet and beautiful couple … but you guys have to see yourself :o) It was a truly wonderful day and you guys should check out how they transformed the ceremony room into the reception room – soooo, sooo pretty!

This post will be a little different. When I work on my photos I usually rename the files so I know who (my second shooter or I) shot the photos, but it must have been late night and before I knew it I was already too far into the processing and didn’t realize until later that I didn’t rename them. Sooooo … this set will be a mix of both of our photos. With this wedding I want to finally take the opportunity to thank Geneve, who has been shooting with me for 5 (!!) years (eeek, has it already been 5 YEARS?? – Oh my!). She’s a wonderful photographer who grew her own business (so def check out her work!), and just a super nice friend to work with! I know many photographers have 2nd photographers and never mention their names … I love Geneve to pieces, no wedding set is complete without her work! She takes wonderful candids and just has a great eye for detail. It’s always nice to see HER take on a wedding, and often I envy her for her photos. So thanks for shooting with me for so many years, girl!!

I will ad some more dancing photos to this set later tonight, but wanted to share a few for now … My very best wishes to both of you!!

And a few posed ones of the pretty bride, I always LOVE that part of the day … Why would one ever want to miss those photos?

A nice sample of mine and Geneve’s perspective:

And an other one … first mine (the close up) … and below is Geneve’s GORGEOUS photo.

One of their friends is in nursing school and brought by accident the wrong bag (with some medical equipment, haha! – Luckily it turned out everybody’s heart {pressure} was in the right spot & still working)

And a few of the handsome groom:

Gotta love natural window light … so pretty!

And caus she’s such a beauty a few more of Sheeza :o)

Sheeza & Tony held a sweet & short ceremony at the Hilton Boston Logan Airport

I call the photo on the left my “grandma” photo, haha … It’s a classic pose, and I think everybody should have it in their wedding set … and now … look have a peek at Geneve’s perspective, beautiful right … same pose, different view … that’s why everybody should have a GOOD second shooter!

An other one from Geneve, haha:

I loooove this series :o)

And a larger photo … LOVE Sheeza’s smile in this one:

Haha! Didn’t see the ladybug when I was shooting, haha! Isn’t that awesome?? Means “it will bring you good luck” where I come from … so I figured I’d leave it on your cheek, Tony! :o)

And a few from the venue:

Don’t you just looooove those centerpieces??? My goodness, sooo pretty! And the up-lighting just transformed the entire room!

Kristen & Joss | Boone Hall Plantation, Charleston, SC

Oh I am just so excited to put this wedding on my blog, I hope you guys enjoy! :o)

A few weeks ago Kristen & Joss (two VERY dear friends of ours!) got married in Charleston. I was so excited when Joss told us the news that they got engaged, Kristen is just such a sweetheart (and GORGEOUS girl) that there was no doubt in my mind this wedding will be a wonderful event … little did I know just HOW beautiful everything would look. Kristen, Joss and their wedding planner put so much work into all the details for their big day that it was like walking into a wedding fairy-land – a wedding straight out of a magazine!

Joss & Kristen, I have no words that will explain HOW HAPPY I am for you guys, you are just a perfect couple! Thank you SO much for having us both be part of your very special day!

Kristen & Joss held their ceremony at the French Huguenot Church in downtown Charleston and their reception and the gorgeous (I mean … GORGEOUS!) Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

The pretty bride:

Love the rustic touch in the bouquet … matched perfectly the theme of the whole wedding! Simple & yet so pretty, right!?

Love Joss’ smile in the pic on the left, hehe

The pretty French Huguenot Church, downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Unfortunately I was not allowed to shoot from anywhere past the last seat (Not okay when you want to capture some nice emotions during the ceremony! But I guess it’s just different in the churches in New England …) :o(

Awww!! Look at those happy smiles! :o)

Love this one of Mrs Tosoni! :o)

Such a handsome and sweet couple! Love you guys!

Kristen attched a little monkey to her bouquet since Joss always calls her money, haha! Love it! :o)

Couldn’t get enough of that pretty wall! And yay for finding some shade that day, haha!

We went to a little alley just around the corner of the church, Charleston has so many beautiful spots!

Troy actually captured this one, love it! :o)

And then we headed out to the beautiful Boone Hall Plantation. Visit the venue’s website and check out the intro video (seriously … do it!). SO, SO VERY PRETTY!

LOVED the oak trees (I mean … who wouldn’t??) when you drive into the plantation, just so very pretty & romantic, you can’t take a bad photo in that place!

And the gate …. aaaahhhhh … wedding photographer dream land :o)

And like all those pretty places wouldn’t be nice enough we found this gorgeous tree right next to the mansion. I mean seriously … doesn’t get prettier, right??

Love this one!

Troy drove that cool chair all the way to the plantation, haha! Gotta love it! Cool, right?

Kristen and Joss held their ceremony at the Cotton Dock at the Plantation … had to take a couple photos on dock, while we’re at it :o))

And I love this one, hehe! Gone with the wind … haha! You guys have NO IDEA how freaking hot it was that day! So a nice little breeze and a cool drink made everybody smile :o)) Parts of “Gone with the Wind” were filmed on the plantation, pretty cool, ey?

Ready to see some of their GORGEOUS details? I looooved how everything looked, the flowers (by Branch Design Studio) were just too pretty for words!

Love the fabric hoops in the background (which matched the pillows that were outside), such a fun & playful idea to spice up some walls!

And check out the embroided menu on one of the fabrics!

Ok, not sure if you guys will really see what these are, they were somewhat hard to photograph, but I loved their seating cards (the guys got some handkerchiefs with it and the girls got a hairclip with a real flower attached to it – LOVED that idea … and which woman will say no to a pretty flower??)

Gorgeous flower creations, right??

And guess who this is!!! Awwwww!!! Jesse & Zandra, friends from WAY back … they were actually also my VERY FIRST couple I photographed. Good times! Love you guys & missing you already!

Well, what should I say, I just couldn’t stop photographing their pretty flowers!

And the last photo from the day! Did you love that wedding or what?? :o)

A very special THANK YOU to 2 people:

Boston Weddings Magazine Feature!!

Oh do I love magazine features! *sigh*, what a nice way to show off and remember your wedding! My second shooter (Lori Steigerwald) and I shot this pretty wedding at the Fuller Craft Museum last year and I gotta say, I am SO VERY HAPPY Helen and Andrew got this feature, they had so many (self made!) details … their personal touches were written all over their big day! What a pretty day and sweet, sweet couple!!

Get yourself a copy of the beautiful Boston Weddings Magazine (and I’m not just doing this because this wedding got featured), there are some really great articles & pretty photos to scroll trough.

Congrats again, Helen & Andrew! :o)

Rebecca & Brian | Coonamessett Inn, Cape Cod

Time for a new CAPE COD wedding post!!! :o) You guys know how to make me happy :o))

From the very first moment I met Rebecca & Brian I knew they’re be just a HUGE pleasure to photograph, and I had so much fun with them during the engagement photos that I could just not wait for their big day!!! :o) I’m one lucky photographer, a sweet-sweet +gorgeous couple, a beautiful location, some nice, breezy summer weather … hey, doesn’t get much better than that, right?? :o)

Rebecca & Brian, I hope you enjoy your little sneak peek :o) The gallery should be online in just a few days! :o) Thank you for an AWESOME day, it was a pleasure “working” with you guys and I feel very honored you picked me to capture your pretty wedding on …. well … “digital film” :o))

Rebecca & Brian held their ceremony at the St. Thomas Chapel and their reception at the pretty Coonamessett Inn in Falmouth, Cape Cod!

The handsome groom, Brian:

… and Mrs Sweetest Thing, Rebecca:

I always love it when the groom writes a sweet note to his soon-to-be wife on the day of their wedding … and you gotta love that HUGE smile on her face :o)

Rebecca must be one of the PRETTIEST brides EVER. And I am sure everybody that knows her will agree that she’s one of the sweetest people on earth!

Alright, I got a little carried away with all the pretty flower shots :o)) Excuse the amount of photos, but aren’t they just super pretty? :o)

Since it was a morning wedding Rebecca & Brian decided to take a few photos of the two of them (and their families) before the ceremony. I always love it when couples do a “first look” and I just love the reactions from both :o)

Love this photo, such a sweet & honest smile! :o)

And can we agree that the photo below is just too adorable for words?? :o)

Let’s say *some* of the guys had … uhm … let’s call it “separation issues”, but eventually let Brian go … :o)

And some shots of the pretty flower girls (all sisters btw!). Aren’t they cute beyond words?? Such little personalities! :o)

Loved how Rebecca sneaked in a second first kiss :o))

Love, love, love this one of you guys! :o)

Soooo handsome!! :o)

Seriously …. I mean how lucky is that??? :o) …. I mean … I totally hired that bird :o))

Haha, love this shot of the flower girls! :o) How cute, right?? :o) That’s how I felt like when I was taking photos of the deliiiicious candy bar, Rebecca prepared, YUM!

I know one thing for sure, their life together will be SWEET! :o)

Congrats again, Rebecca & Brian, I hope you guys had an unforgettable time in Costa Rica!!! And thanks again for sharing your beautiful day with us! :o)

Big thanks also to my second shooter, Geneve
