Pamela & David • Destination Wedding at Las Ranitas, Tulum, Mexico

I know many people have been patiently waiting for this post – it’s been a long time coming … as much as I was dying to share these photos, as soon as I had a first peek at them I knew I’d have a hard time choosing favorites.

I gotta say, sweet Pamela is ONE artsy bride with a beautiful taste! I have never seen such a colorful wedding in my life! It was like a festival of colors and emotions! What a wedding, what a week! I had a very special feeling when I got the first email from Pamela that this wedding will be different – this girl put a LOT of thoughts and love into everything she did … starting with the “message in a bottle” wedding invitation, the Mayan ceremony, the gorgeous venue in Tulum … all the “little” details and last but not least … our day after shoot! I have no words for this wedding! I think everybody that came to Mexico to celebrate with Pamela & David agrees, it was *just beautiful* event and you guys are SUCH a sweet and special couple, I’ll keep you in my heart for forever!

Pamela and David got ready at the Grand Palladium, White Sand and held their Mayan Ceremony as well as their reception at the gorgeous Las Ranitas, Tulum, Mexico

Shhhhht, are you ready for this? Here we go:

Look at that wonderful, custom made wedding gown AND Pamela’s beautiful necklace that she did herself!

What a beautiful bride!

Check out the back of the necklace! Pretty, right???!! She also did the girl’s necklaces (told you, she’s ONE CRAFTY bride!), while grandma made their dresses!

Cuteness! Pamela’s nieces:

SO gorgeous!

Look at the colors!! everybody was wearing a different color dress!

Couldn’t resist to put the next two photos next to each other :o) Love the blue! These were taken at Las Ranitas.

Meet the groom David! :o)

Mr. Handsome :o)

Told you! Festival of colors! :o) David & Pamela had some Mayan Dancers perform a dance before the ceremony! I wish I could ad music to my photos. It was just SO fun!

Ahhh so pretty! I wish I could go back in time!

LOVE the next few! PURE JOY!

and look at that smile!!

those two are truly made for each other!

And one of all the guests! :o) Look at the coloooooors!!! HOW FUN!

Oh my! Love, love, love the boutonnieres and the bouquets! What should I say?? I loved EVERYTHING about this wedding!

Family!

My goodness!! Will it be awkward if I hang some of your wedding photos on my wall?? Haha!

Fiesta!!

Did I mention that those two lovebirds got married exactly 10 years after they met in Mexico? On cinco de mayo.

<3

I really had a hard time putting ANY of these photos into sepia, but thought it fit for this photo …

Duckies for Good Luck (heard that putting duckies into the ocean is a Mexican custom?). They sure are one LUCKY couple and I was ONE LUCKY photographer!!

Gotta love David :o))) He was making fun of me posing Pamela :o)))) David, you got some moves! Bet GQ will call you right after I make this post public :o))

The message in a bottle aka coolest destination wedding invitation EVER!

SUNSET! Could the colors be any prettier???

Sneaking in a photo I took of them at the Grand Palladium:

Back at the venue:

I mean seriously! Look at those FUN “table cloths” … and colorful frames – that I believe P&D brought from home!

and now check out their table settings! Colors, colors, colors! They made the napkins & napkin rings, the signs, brought the vases from home .. check out the drink (key) charms. Love, love, love!

Flowers for your hair ladies? This bride thought of everything!

and look at that pretty view! What a PERFECT location, Las Ranitas is directly at the beach, just so pretty and perfectly BREEZY!

Oh and like this was enough …. check out their little Mexican-Tequila-shots!!!

Sneaking one more photo in from the hotel:

I have decided to include Pamela’s & David’s Trash the Dress / Day After photos into the same post, because I really don’t want you to miss them :o) So here we go:

What a dream bride, right?

Pamela got in touch with a cenote owner and organized us private access to a couple of cenotes! How fun!!! I could have photographed those two the entire day … well … with some swimming pool breaks maybe … hehe … it was HOT out in cenote-land! :o))) But OH SO WORTH the trip! We started the next day bright and early with the drive to the cenotes … and ended up doing a few more photos at their / our pretty hotel the Grand Palladium, White Sand:

a little break in between photo-locations :o)

That’s it! WOW! Uhm ….. I don’t know about you guys, but I’ll miss posting photos from this wedding!

Melissa & Mat | Mount Washington Hotel, Bretton Woods, NH

I somehow have a feeling I should start this blog post with “Once upon a time ….” :o) What a fun, fun wedding!!!

Melissa contacted me only a few months ago and asked if I’d consider shooting a wedding in NH, and I have to be honest, …. one usually has to convince me to do a November wedding – you just can’t ever predict the weather and I love taking the posed photos outside. BUT I met Melissa & Mat at their friends wedding that I shot last year, and dear I say …. they are BOTH 2 of the nicest couples I’ve ever met … so … how could one EVER resist + who would ever say no to a backdrop like Mount Washington??? – Right.

Well, I am pretty sure it’s safe to say that EVERYBODY had a blast that weekend, what a goooorgeous day they had! Thank you both SO much for having us photograph your very special day – Darcy and I had an absolute blast and I LOVED seeing all the bridesmaids again – how fun!! And thanks also for being up for taking photos outside … in the cold …. and the super bright sunlight (eeek) … we all know how freezing it was that day, haha! :o) You guys are an awesome couple – I’d make the trip any day to have you in front of my lens again!

I hope you guys had a woooooonderful time on St. John (boy did I envy you!!!!) and I hope you enjoy the little sneak peek before you get to see the rest of the photos hopefully later tonight :o)

Melissa & Mat held their ceremony at the St. Rose of Lima, Littleton, NH and had their reception at the gorgeous Mount Washington Resort in Bretton Woods, NH.

Aren’t those flowers absolutely stunning??? I’ve never seen roses like those!

Meet Melissa, the pretty bride:

Love this photo:

Ahh, so pretty!

And doesn’t she just have a beautiful smile? … whole room lights up!

gotta love the Mount Washington Resort and it’s beautiful interior!!

Soooo pretty, right??!!!

And a few Darcy took while she was hanging out with the guys :o)

Meet the handsome groom, Mat:

Love this moment :o)

Loooook at that place!!! What a dream!

Best bridal party!!!

Eeeeeek, sorry for posing you in that bright, bright sunlight, but I had to take advantage of that pretty view! :o) You guys rock!

Told ya!!!! BEST bridal party!! :o)

AND one of the sweetest couple! I’m one lucky photographer! :o)

My favorite of the day! WHAT A PLACE!

I could take photos of you guys every day! SUCH a happy couple!

One from Darcy, LOVE the light!

And two more from Darcy:

Can you believe that place???? We came just in time! PERFECT light – even if it was a *bit* chilly by that time :o))

A few detail / interior shots :o)

And a photo of sweet Jen & Dennis who got married last year :o) Hi guys! :o)

Alright, I’ll confess, I didn’t know which ones to post, so here are a few from their first dance. SO pretty!

Smiles, smiles, smiles!

Way to make even the famous table shot fun! :o))

Party photos!!! And boy did they have a party! Put 200 fuuun people, an awesome band and a really cool DJ in a big room and see what happens! Good times!

And uhm yes …. they had fireworks at their wedding! Way to finish a fun wedding season (for me). Seriously …. who’s gonna top that? THANK YOU GUYS! Wow, wow, wow!

Kristen & Joss | Boone Hall Plantation, Charleston, SC

Oh I am just so excited to put this wedding on my blog, I hope you guys enjoy! :o)

A few weeks ago Kristen & Joss (two VERY dear friends of ours!) got married in Charleston. I was so excited when Joss told us the news that they got engaged, Kristen is just such a sweetheart (and GORGEOUS girl) that there was no doubt in my mind this wedding will be a wonderful event … little did I know just HOW beautiful everything would look. Kristen, Joss and their wedding planner put so much work into all the details for their big day that it was like walking into a wedding fairy-land – a wedding straight out of a magazine!

Joss & Kristen, I have no words that will explain HOW HAPPY I am for you guys, you are just a perfect couple! Thank you SO much for having us both be part of your very special day!

Kristen & Joss held their ceremony at the French Huguenot Church in downtown Charleston and their reception and the gorgeous (I mean … GORGEOUS!) Boone Hall Plantation in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.

The pretty bride:

Love the rustic touch in the bouquet … matched perfectly the theme of the whole wedding! Simple & yet so pretty, right!?

Love Joss’ smile in the pic on the left, hehe

The pretty French Huguenot Church, downtown Charleston, South Carolina. Unfortunately I was not allowed to shoot from anywhere past the last seat (Not okay when you want to capture some nice emotions during the ceremony! But I guess it’s just different in the churches in New England …) :o(

Awww!! Look at those happy smiles! :o)

Love this one of Mrs Tosoni! :o)

Such a handsome and sweet couple! Love you guys!

Kristen attched a little monkey to her bouquet since Joss always calls her money, haha! Love it! :o)

Couldn’t get enough of that pretty wall! And yay for finding some shade that day, haha!

We went to a little alley just around the corner of the church, Charleston has so many beautiful spots!

Troy actually captured this one, love it! :o)

And then we headed out to the beautiful Boone Hall Plantation. Visit the venue’s website and check out the intro video (seriously … do it!). SO, SO VERY PRETTY!

LOVED the oak trees (I mean … who wouldn’t??) when you drive into the plantation, just so very pretty & romantic, you can’t take a bad photo in that place!

And the gate …. aaaahhhhh … wedding photographer dream land :o)

And like all those pretty places wouldn’t be nice enough we found this gorgeous tree right next to the mansion. I mean seriously … doesn’t get prettier, right??

Love this one!

Troy drove that cool chair all the way to the plantation, haha! Gotta love it! Cool, right?

Kristen and Joss held their ceremony at the Cotton Dock at the Plantation … had to take a couple photos on dock, while we’re at it :o))

And I love this one, hehe! Gone with the wind … haha! You guys have NO IDEA how freaking hot it was that day! So a nice little breeze and a cool drink made everybody smile :o)) Parts of “Gone with the Wind” were filmed on the plantation, pretty cool, ey?

Ready to see some of their GORGEOUS details? I looooved how everything looked, the flowers (by Branch Design Studio) were just too pretty for words!

Love the fabric hoops in the background (which matched the pillows that were outside), such a fun & playful idea to spice up some walls!

And check out the embroided menu on one of the fabrics!

Ok, not sure if you guys will really see what these are, they were somewhat hard to photograph, but I loved their seating cards (the guys got some handkerchiefs with it and the girls got a hairclip with a real flower attached to it – LOVED that idea … and which woman will say no to a pretty flower??)

Gorgeous flower creations, right??

And guess who this is!!! Awwwww!!! Jesse & Zandra, friends from WAY back … they were actually also my VERY FIRST couple I photographed. Good times! Love you guys & missing you already!

Well, what should I say, I just couldn’t stop photographing their pretty flowers!

And the last photo from the day! Did you love that wedding or what?? :o)

A very special THANK YOU to 2 people:

Boston Weddings Magazine Feature!!

Oh do I love magazine features! *sigh*, what a nice way to show off and remember your wedding! My second shooter (Lori Steigerwald) and I shot this pretty wedding at the Fuller Craft Museum last year and I gotta say, I am SO VERY HAPPY Helen and Andrew got this feature, they had so many (self made!) details … their personal touches were written all over their big day! What a pretty day and sweet, sweet couple!!

Get yourself a copy of the beautiful Boston Weddings Magazine (and I’m not just doing this because this wedding got featured), there are some really great articles & pretty photos to scroll trough.

Congrats again, Helen & Andrew! :o)

Nicole’s & Rafael’s wedding featured in the *Destination Weddings & Honeymoons* magazine!!!!

I’m excited beyond words! What should I say? :o) Not sure if there is a bigger honor than having a wedding published on a bridal blog or … MAGAZINE!!

Destination weddings are like little (ok … HUGE) treats for me as I loooove to travel (I’ll admit it, I’m a beach girl) + love to shoot weddings. Can you imagine a better mix? I love my job :o)

Since you can’t really read the article below, I copy pasted the text, hope that’s ok :o)

Love of cinema connected Brooklyn, New York, couple Rafael, a freelance filmmaker, and Nicole, a marketing manager for a television content provider, who met while working on a film. After they dated three years, Rafael popped the question on their anniversary — but only after a foiled proposal attempt on a Florida vacation. “He wanted to propose while kayaking, but I was nursing a New Year’s Eve hangover and told him he should go without me,” Nicole laughs. “I had no idea; I was totally clueless.”

The couple chose Mexico for its affordability, convenience and great cuisine, and they set the date for Presidents Day weekend to give their friends and family a break from winter. Searching online, they found Al Cielo, a four-room boutique hotel in Riviera Maya that was perfect for their nuptials. “It was everything I was looking for in a location: stunning, small, rustic and remote,” Nicole says. The 46 guests stayed in the nearby town of Akumal, and the couple hired Ismael Sauceda from Sauce Vacations to handle transportation throughout the week. The rehearsal dinner was held at La Buena Vida, an informal beachfront restaurant, where guests noshed on fish tacos, sopa de lima and homemade flan.

The next day’s sunset ceremony was held on the beach at Al Cielo. Donning an Amsale gown and a white orchid in her hair, Nicole walked down the aisle lined with palms and rose petals to meet Rafael under a wooden altar adorned with white fabric and orchids. The personalized ceremony was a family affair: Rafael’s father, Jose Ottoni Lima, officiated, and the groom’s 12-year-old niece read Dr. Suess’ Oh, the Places You’ll Go! Nicole and Rafael read aloud vows their guests had devised for them; then the couple exchanged their own self-written promises. “Reading the vows our guests had written was a lighthearted, fun portion of our ceremony because neither of us had any idea what they would write,” Nicole remembers.

Afterward cocktail hour was held on the beach, where guests were greeted with margaritas and hors d’oeuvres like salmon mousse, totopos and coconut shrimp. A traditional mariachi band provided background music while everyone mingled. For the reception, the party moved to the thatch-roof restaurant for a sit-down dinner overlooking the ocean. Instead of a wedding cake, the couple incorporated a bit of local flair: caramel and chocolate churros brought in from Charros Churros, in nearby Playa del Carmen. “They were a huge hit!” recalls the bride. “Our family and friends are still raving about them.”

Celinda & Brian | Hall of Springs, Saratoga, NY

It’s time for an other wedding post! A bit delayed ……, but I finally got around to go trough your huge set. Thanks so much for your patience! Your photos will be online shortly, I am already looking forward to sharing them with you :o)

Celina & Brian got married at the Hall of Springs in beautiful Saratoga, NY. I’ve never been there before so this was my first visit and I have to say, it’s a truly beautiful city & venue to get married at! It was a HOT (hot, hot, hot AND humid – oh so humid day), BUT, after the initial rain the sky opened up and we had nothing but beautiful weather. It sure was a sublime wedding.

I hope you guys enjoy your preview – this time with some party shots :o)

Oh and btw!! Did you guys see this, you got featured on your venue’d blog! :o)

I loved your beautiful necklace, Celinda! So very pretty!

And I loooved that huge mirror in the room :o) Even if the space in that particular spot was rather tight, I love all the sneaky mirror shots I was able to get :o)

Celinda prepared this fun “cheat sheet” … basically a sheet with all the important info for everybody involved. What a GREAT idea!!!

What a pretty bride!! :o)

A beauty:

Such a pretty veil … and those eye lashes ….. beauuuutiful. I am *one* lucky photographer to have such beautiful brides :o)

There is rarely a wedding, where I don’t do this shot, one of my favorites, a classic :o)

Meet Brian, the handsome groom :o)

Loved this arch way, took some more photos there with the whole wedding party.

Awwww, those 2 were soooo cute!!

Yup, it was raining right before the ceremony … :o(

They held their ceremony at the Hall of Springs. Gotta say, I haven’t seen a venue more elegant than this one!

What a cutie!! :o)

Love all the wedding party pics we got, hope you’ll like them too :o)

I think this one is my favorite :o)

Haha. I didn’t even pose that one … I was takign pics of Celinda & the guys when Brian looked around the corner :o))

Uhm ok, so …. We got some nice getting ready photos, the ceremony was wonderful … got some awesome photos with the fun bridal party, … some beautiful photos of the 2 of them, the photographer is already veeeery happy, haha … and now just tell me they’ll all end up on the dance floor! … Sure thing they did!! Jennifer & Dennis | New Seabury Country Club

The most difficult part for me, when posting some new wedding photos is the writing part, I am not good at it and it’s always the last thing on my to-do list, haha. There is no way, my words will do this wedding justice, and I’m having real difficulties expressing how much I loved being part of your big day! Everything looked so beautiful, and you guys are such a sweet, kind, loving couple! …. Jen, I think I’ll always remember you as “the bride that never stopped smiling” :o) What a day, I don’t blame you :o)

Jennifer & Dennis held their ceremony at the First Congregational Church in Falmouth, and held their reception at the beautiful New Seabury County Club on the Cape.

Thanks so much to both of you for a wonderful day. A very special thank you also to both sides of the family, you were ALL sooooo very nice, and wonderful to work with! Thank you so much for letting us be part of your big day!

Fist off … Jen, I am obsessed with your shoes … there, I admit it … SO VERY PRETTY!

Meet Jennifer, the beautiful bride:

Ok, you think this is gorgeous? ….

… Look at this!! WOWZER!

The beautiful bridesmaids, loved the dresses and the little blingy details:

Sometimes I wish I had audio attached to my photos, everybody was singing on the way to the church …

Don’t cry … you’ll make the photographer cry too …

Not sure if you can see it on this photo, but the bottom of Jen’s bouquet had such a pretty lacy detail … looked so elegant!

Look at that veil & the colors of the water, how cool! The water must be reflecting the clear blue sky we had.

Some more traditional poses, pretty, pretty, what a setting …

And some more “untraditional” of the girls that Jen wanted to have. Love them!

The handsome groom Dennis:

Loove this shot:

… and this one too:

What a fun couple … I barely had to pose them!

Hehe:

Gooorgeous:

Gorgeous, cute … fun … you cover it all!

And this one took my breath away when I saw it:

… oh, and ROMANTIC! (I don’t even think you knew I took this shot, hehe, told you … you’re naturals) :o)

Some detail shots from the reception:

[I’ll actually post a couple more dancing shots later this week (there was a LOT of dancing), but I wanted to share these with you for the time being]:

Wait!! What’s the bride doing with a cow bell in her hand??? Hahahaha … they had too much fun!!!

And the last shot of the evening: Once the light went on again and all the guests said their good byes, the band was already packing their equipment … Jen & Dennis had their last dance that evening

(How cute are they??):

A special thank you also to my 2nd photographer Corey, who came alllll the way from Maine. It was so much fun working with you! Thanks for joining me! :o)

Sayaka & Duncan • State Room, Boston

Sayaka & Duncan, I’ve been looking forward to working on your photos and finally managed to pull together some of my favorites. :o)

There is so much I could say about your wedding, yet my words would never do you guys justice! For everybody that doesn’t remember Sayaka & Duncan from one of my previous entries, click here and read how we met.

It never actually happened that A) I ran into a couple that got engaged that *same* day (by accident) B) I never ended up asking a couple if I could possibly document their big day (usually it’s the other way around, haha)! :o)) I knew the day I met you, that your wedding will be wonderful! There are not many people that fill a room with their love to each other like you guys do! But enough said, here’s a little sneak peek to your HUGE set! More photos to come (especially from your ceremony & reception), I’m just not quite there yet with my processing … ;o)

Sayaka & Duncan held their ceremony at the Post Office Square Park & continued their festivities at the State Room in downtown Boston.

Can’t restist posting these 2 out-takes:

The cute ring barear: (you should not put me in a room with a baby / toddler these days if you want me to continue shooting, haha … what a CUTIE!)

Some of their gorgeous details at their venue. I love the State Room, it’s such a pretty venue, and boy the viiiewwwww!!

What a beautiful view!!

I couldn’t decide which dance photos to post, you guys got SO many. So here is a little selection :o)

Can you tell yet that they took some Ball Room Dancing classes together? WOW!

Duncan, you owe me a tissue (or two)! I don’t think I’ve ever cried that much during a speech, haha! Luckily I could hide behind my camera, I hope you don’t have any evidence on video ;o))

Words will not describe how much I respect the love you guys have for each other and for the people around you. You are a true inspiration!

Thank you SO much for letting me be part of your very special day, I feel so lucky I ran into you that April 25th!

A special thanks goes also to my 2nd shooter Suzanna

Alexis & William | Lake View Pavilion

Guess who’s baaaack?? :o) I had a bit of a late start this season (if you’re still waiting for an email from me, I’m sorry …. yup, I’m totally behind with everything at the moment), guess life DOES change when you get a baby :o)

I could have honestly not asked for a better kick-off wedding. Alexis & William celebrated their fun Greek-Irish (huh?) wedding at the beautiful Lake View Pavilion in Foxboro. I’m honestly in LOVE with this venue. L-O-V-E, so pretty! You’ll see why …. and the ceremony was at the beautiful Annunciation Cathedral in Boston, what a gem!

This post has wayyyy too many photos, I’m sorry … I just wasn’t able to choose my favorites … guess there are worse problems to have :o)

Congrats Alexis & William, thanks for letting us share your fun, fun wedding day!!! I love you guys!

What a beautifuuul dress. And you should have seen her veil!! WOW!!

The goorgeous bride:

Do you recognize the pretty lady on the left? Hi Kara :o)

Check our Alexis’ beauutiful flowers. aren’t they pretty? Love the colors, love the flowers you chose and I love the bow. Just beautiful!

Love these:

This must be love … oh wait …

Yup it was raining … of course …. it’s New Eng(RAIN)land weather after all. But we DID end up getting some outdoor shots (phew!), so the photographer was happy.

Love the Annunciation Cathedral!

Thank God for a funny bridal party … makes it soo much easier for us …

… and for a funny groom … :o)

Guess on which side the paparazzis were:

Ok, I have to admit, I have this big issue with “photo rooms” at venues … they’re ugly, let’s face it! BUT I love this one. The photo room at the Lake View Pavilion must be the pretties I’ve ever seen … and if it would have been raining, I would have loved to shoot there … :

By the time we got to the venue we had goorgeous weather & perfect light, PHEW!!

Have I told you how much I love the Lake View Pavilion???? Look at those beautiful drapes, sooooo pretty!

Bill: “Does she make funny faces yet?” …………………….. Maybeeeeeeeeee? :o)

What a handsome couple!!!

Look at them!! Sooo handsome!

Love this one:

They had their own paparazzis!!! You should have seen them in the Cathedral, haha!

There was no doubt that the dance floor would be packed that night. What a fun crowd!! :o)

Hehe …

Drapes, drapes … eeeeverywhere …. soooooo pretty!

Loved the sweetheart table too!

Alexis & William had SUCH a HUGE dessert buffet, that I thought it deserved it’s own little collage. Your life together is going to be SWEET, that’s for sure!

Well, one thing is for sure. Greeks know how to throw a party. They love their music, they know how to dance, and they sure know how to cook / bake delicious foods! But wait … am I spotting a wedding crasher??

I hope you are having a fabulous time in Caboooo :o)

Nicole & Rafael | Al Cielo, Xpu-Ha Beach, Mexico

I looooove destination weddings :o) This time I was lucky enough to shoot a wedding in Mexico at the beautiful Al Cielo Hotel on Xpu-Ha Beach. Nicole & Rafael escaped (just in time) the East Coast snow storm and celebrated their wedding with friends & family under palm trees. Just gorgeous:

Since the ceremony was close to sunset tim, we took some photos before the “Yes, I do”. Here are some photos of them having the first glimpse at each other:

We took soooo many beautiful photos (how couldn’t one, with such a beautiful couple at this beautiful beach ..), that it was really hard for me to narrow them down to just a couple of favorites, haha!

Hmmmm, one of my favorites of Nicole, so pretty:

Nicole & Rafael had some mariachi singers during the ceremony. Loved their original outfits. :o)

What a setting! Al Cielo is such a pretty place for a wedding & they’re all soo nice there!

Nicole & Rafael decided that the guests should write the vows for them, and they would read them out loud to each other. Some of the guests were especially creative! :o))

I want to get married again! …. is it to early for a vow renewal after only 5 years of marriage? :o)

Hmmmm, and their hors d’oeuvres looked toooooo delicious:

And a pic of Sarah, Tim & cute lill’ Braden (one of my 2007 couples). Hi guys! :o)

Loved the placecards. What a cute idea! :o)

Yup, it was beautiful!

And some pics from their fun party:

Nicole & Rafael, I have no words. Your wedding was simply breathtaking! Thanks so much for having us! I hope you enjoyed this little sneak Peek :o)

A special thanks to the lovely Geneve, who joined me on our little trip :o)

And thanks also to Donaji from Whimsical Weddings Tulum, one of the nicest wedding planners I’ve ever worked with.

Published!! Theona & Tony :o)

Theona & Tony made it already on the cover of Bride & Groom before their wedding (they had a special edition about engagements), so it’s not a big surprise their beautiful wedding at the Tower Hill Botanic Garden got featured. I’m so happy for you guys!! :o)

You can read the full article HERE. We’re on page 18/19 :o)

Theona & Tony | Tower Hill, Botanic Garden

Theona, Tony & I have a bit of a history together. I photographed Tony’s sister’s wedding back in 2007 (boy, has it already been 2 years???). I think only a couple of weeks after Nicole’s & Jeb’s beautiful wedding I got a lovely email from Theona, and I was hoping it was the girl that I remembered dancing that whole night. Haha :o)

Then, last summer we had an awesome engagement session, and I already knew then that their wedding will be a LOT of fun to photograph, they’re just one of the sweetest, most caring couples. In addition to all that Theona is also a model, so what better bride to have? :o) Even the Bride & Groom Magazine was all over their engagement photos and they ended up on the cover of this season’s issue! How cool is that?

Theona & Tony celebrated both their outdoor ceremony & their reception at the beautiful Tower Hill Botanic Garden in Boylston.

Thank you for sharing your very special day with us. Everything looked incredibly pretty (I loved everything, from the bouquets, place cards to the favors) we just had a blast the whole day!

My very best wishes for a wonderful future together … hope you guys are enjoying the Bahaaaaaaamas! :o)

Mahalo :o)

Both moms having a peek:  :o)

Aren’t the flowers pretty? I love the colors!

Yup, she’s a beauty.

Theona & Tony decided to do their posed photos before the ceremony, so we picked a pretty spot on the grounds where they would see each other for the first time.

There was no peeking allowed, haha … Theona was running to her groom :o) …

… and had the biiiigest smile when he turned around :o) Sooo cute!!! I love you guys, you are such a wonderful couple!

I could just keep going with photos of the 2 of them, but I guess this is just supposed to be a sneak peek ;o)

I love getting those wide angle ceremony shots. Nobody really ever gets to enjoy the overall picture the day off. This one is especially pretty, what a backdrop!

The perfect couple even gets a perfect ring shot:  :o)

Theona & Tony released butterflies. They were allll over the place, unfortunately you don’t see them unless you zoom into the photo, but here are a couple shots:

It was sooo nice seeing the Scola family again & meeting the Hardwoods :o) The photo on the right is for the good old times :o)

I did some archive digging ;o) Here are just a couple of Nicole & Jeb’s wedding, 2 years ago :o)

Since Theona’s mom’s side is from Hawai’i one of the aunts performed a Hawaiian dance for them:
