Natalie & Nevin | Museum of Science

Natalie & Nevin I hope you’re enjoying your honeymoon in Turkey! :o) I just wanted to send you a little sneak peek to your wonderful set, I hope you’ll enjoy the photos :o)

I still can’t believe we lucked out with the weather … again!! What is it just with this summer?? :o( BUT I told you, if the sky is a bit overcast, it’s actually even better (for the photographer anyway, haha), so we ended up having the most delicious, even light for the photos and it showed!

Thank you soooo much for letting us be part of your special day!

Natalie & Nevin celebrated their elegant ceremony & reception at the Museum of Science in Boston.

I love the pose at the window, but this one is exceptionally beautiful! Like out of a magazine!

Nevin insisted on being in all the photos … haha … sort of ;o)

2 cool dudes ring bearers :o)  :

As I said .. we had the most beautiful even light … no squinty eyes!! Love it!

… and some photos from the Blue Room at the Museum of Science, where Natalie & Nevin held their reception:

I sneaked that one from Lori, what a cool pic! :o)

And last but not least … a photo with the oldest wedding crasher / party animal *ever* :o)

Thanks for joining me Lori! :o)

Aikaterini & Athanacios | Jimmy’s Allenhurst

Sometimes you just know when the wedding will be a blast! I could not believe my eyes when I kept checking the weather report for Aikaterini & Athanacios’s wedding, it looked like we would get into some rain, but we lucked out! And as I keep telling … an overcast sky makes beautiful photos ++ you (well, ok the photographer) will not end up with squenty eyes ;o)

I love traveling, but since I don’t get to do that anymore due to my busy wedding season the next best thing are international weddings! I loooove photographing different traditions from different cultures … One of those days I’m planning to pack my backpack and disappear for a year, and have a weddings in every country I go to … one of those days I will do it.

Aikaterini & Athanacios held their Greek ceremony at St. George in Lynn, and celebrated their wedding at Jimmy’s Allenhurst in Danvers.

Doesn’t the flower girl look like a little angel in this pic?? :o)

How about a groomsmen / groom pic like that? Have I mentioned yet that Athanacios submitted a pic from our engagement shoot, and got a suite / model job at Macy’s?? How cool is that??

Love that group shot! Like from a magazine!

I think this one is my favorite of the day, but it’s a tough call:

Between poses …. haha!! Gottcha’ :

And this was probably the most beautiful sweetheart table I’ve ever seen. Katerina designed a sea of lower pedals that were hung up from the main chandelier, right above their table. Beautiful!

Oh and yup! They had an ice-sculpture!! :o)

Let’s say Greeks know how to party! :o)

Aikaterini & Athanacios! I will miss chatting with you … Thanks for a fun wedding!

Thanks to my fab. 2nd shooter Geneve for joining me, I’m sure you guys will be all over our websites :o)

Kara & Jacin | Raffael’s

I am finally catching up with my posts, and I am sure everybody is waiting for the promised sneak peek … so here we go! :o) This weekend I had TWO fabulous weddings. An Italian, and a Greek affair! I loooove my job … and … I looooove Italy! In fact it’s one of my favorite places in Europe … no, in the whole WORLD (I am not kidding! I think I lived in Florence in my past life and am still waiting for my first destination wedding in Rome!!! How cool would that be??). When I used to live in Switzerland I had to go at least once a year down South, to get my Italian injection! So this year … you guys saved me a trip!! :o)

Kara & Jacin, you guys were a w-o-n-d-e-r-f-u-l couple to work with!!! I can’t believe how beautiful everything looked, and can’t even imagine how long it took to put your wedding together. And it’s official! You guys had the biggest wedding party I’ve ever photographed!!! I think you guys had 34 people, correct me if I’m wrong … and that’s just counting the: 13 bridesmaids, 1 junior brides maid, 4 flower girls, 12 groomsmen and 4 ring bearers (parents & Kara & Jacin not included) … WOW!!!

Thanks so much for sharing your wonderful day with us! We got an *insane* amount of photos, I’m not even half way through your set!! When I selected my top favorite (must-blog-photos) I ended up with 83 photos … you guys are getting me into trouble! Haha (oh boy!!) … I lowered the amount, but bear with me, this will be a long post …

Kara & Jacin celebrated their ceremony at the gorgeous Holy Name Parish in West Roxbury, and had a fun, Italian party at Raffael’s in Walpole! – Oh, and the pics were taken at the picturesque Larz Anderson Park in Brookline.

Definitely a wedding to remember. Thanks so much for sharing your day with us!!!

There are only a few things I would change about my own wedding, having an old timer is on the list!! How beautiful is this car?!??

This photo still cracks me up … I promise the groom survived – without a broken back :o)

Do you recognize this bridge? Yup, it’s the same spot where we took Kara & Jacin’s engagement photos :o)

Hmmmm, one of my favorite from the day:

I always take 2-3 “classic” poses, even though I don’t really usually post them. But this one came out *so* beautiful! You guys just have a perfect smile. Love it!

‘Gotcha, Jacin!!! :oD

What a beauty of a shot (if I may say so):

Yup, they had a little flight at the cake table, haha! That was one braaaaave groom :o)

And what would an Italian wedding be without a packed dance floor?

Thanks for joining me Miss Geneve :o)

Meet Emily • 2 weeks old!

I haven’t take any baby photos for a couple of weeks, so I was *really* excited to meet Emily. In addition to that I photographed Lisa & Jens’ wedding back in 2007, and there is nothing more exciting than seeing a family grow. :o)

Thank you so much for visiting me so shortly after Emily’s birth, I looooove taking photos of newborns and she was the absolutely cutest model ever!! :o)

And this is one of my very favorite baby photos EVER. Love it :o)

I can’t believe how beautiful she looks in this photo. Isn’t she adorable? :o)

Had to post that one to … haha … Here, she wasn’t very happy with me … haha … Modeling is a tough job ;o)

Calling all Weather Gods … or those who have connections …

I am not shooting one … I am shooting TWO weddings this weekend, and it looks like we’ll get some rain … :o(

So, send all your good thoughts our way. In case you have any connections to the weather gods, have a little anti-rain dance for us :o) Any help would be greatly appreciated :o)

Rain-rain-go-away!

Update: Thanks for all the good thoughts!! Yay! We actually lucked out, and managed to take all the pics outside – without any rain drops. Phew!! Stay tuned … I’ll post 2 woooooonderful wedddings in the next couple of days :o)

UPDATE: Thanks all for crossing your fingers! We actually ended up not getting into any rain – hurray!!! Uhm … but … can I ask you to cross your fingers again? This time for Natalie & Nevin (06/20/2009) … not looking good right now :o(

Thanks!

Melissa & John | Castle in the Clouds

Yay! It’s finally time for a little sneak peek again. :o)

Melissa & John got married at the gorgeous Castle in the Clouds (NH) last weekend. I am not sure if the view could have been any better. The Mountain Range has a breathtaking vista of Lake Winnipesaukee  & is surrounded by mountains. Just beautiful, and a perfect spot for an outdoors wedding :o)

Melissa & John, your wedding was filled with so much laughter and happy-tears (boy, I hope nobody saw the photographer tearing up, haha!) and it was a huge pleasure to work with you on your beautiful day, thanks so much for sharing it with us :o)

Here’s your sneak peek:

Just one quick pic of the view, did I promise too much?

And I told you about alllllll the tears … :o) … and …

… and laughs! :oD

and that’s a pic of a VERY happy couple! :o)

Thanks to my fabulous 2nd photographer, Geneve

Alyssa & Adam | Plymouth Yacht Club

Alyssa & Adam, I can’t believe how time flies, I remember when we had our interview not too long ago, and you were telling me about your wonderful wedding plans! :o) I was already looking forward to your wedding for a while, I love weddings at the water … and when you told me about the VW bug you’re planning to take to the church, I couldn’t wait to see it!! :o) Haha! I LOVE old cars, and your grandpa’s VW was the cutest little thing!! :o) I hope you will have a fabulous time on your honeymoon, thought I would share some photos before you head out :o)

Alyssa & Adam celebrated their ceremony at the Chiltonville Congregational Church and held their reception at the fun Plymouth Yacht Club.

Hope you enjoy the pics :o)

Thanks so much for joining me, Geneve, it was as always a lot of fun shooting with you :o)
