Off the Beaten Wedding Photography Track

I had the great opportunity to take some photos for the Ellsworth Associates, based in Cambridge. They just finished a couple of projects and needed some photos for their portfolio.
You just have to love their buildings and the bright, bright inside!

Sofia • 10 months old

Just had to share those photos of one of my favorite little models! Sofia is just the cutest little girl. She’s always so happy, and doesn’t she just have the cutest smile?

I feel so blessed to be doing what I do. Next baby session (this time of one of my previous wedding couples!) is already booked, YAY! :o)

Awww!

Now, how cute are those?? I took some photos of some puppies at the Briarwood Kennel this weekend. How could you ever resist those eyes?? ;o)

Nam & Savoun

Here are some photos of Nam & Savoun’s wedding back in April 2007. They were so much fun to work with and had the great idea to take some photos in the RI State House! 🙂

A quick Portrait

Our Favorite Locations – Belle Mer

As far as receptions go, it doesn’t get much nicer than the beautiful Belle Mer in Newport, RI. … And did you see the cake?

Some candids from the reception:

Our Favorite Locations – Tower Hill

One of our last year’s favorite locations was a wedding at the Tower Hill in Boylston, MA. Deborah & Mike had their ceremony outdoors in one of the the beautiful gardens and held their reception in the orangerie which had huge cathedral ceilings. Everything looked absolutely beautiful and Jennifer, the wedding coordinator did an amazing job.

Here are some of their reception photos:

Jessica & Jeremy • Engaged

I decided to do a little blog-warm-up, so here are some photos from my very last engagement session, taken fall last year. It must have been one of the last warm & sunny days in 2007 (I hate the winter and can’t wait until spring is finally here).
Everything looked perfect, the couple was sweet and very fun to photograph and the fall colors … well, it was just beautiful. Jessica & Jeremy actually ended up choosing the location, so we had our little shooting in the park of Wellesley College.
I would go back in a heartbeat, what a gorgeous place!

But let’s get to some photos:

Wow. That was quick.

I was actually mostly curious how one creates a blog, but didn’t really plan on posting today, especially since I am not much of a writer ;o)

But here I am. (Well, it might take me a while until I really start blogging, but check back again later, there will be many, many nice photos waiting for us) … :o)
